Jessica Sizemore began her work as Partner Relations Coordinator in 2009. She supports the work of Partners in Performance by serving as project manager for major initiatives such as Vision 2020: Creating a New Place for Dance in the Public Imagination, a 10-year visioning plan for the Dance Heritage Coalition, Western New York Arts and Cultural Support Initiative for the New York State Council on the Arts and the Fund for the Arts, and Governance Effectiveness Initiatives with Chamber Music America, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Jessica coordinates the learning communities for all Partners in Performance projects including the Global Folk Art Network, Community Arts Education Leadership Institute, and Arts Leaders as Cultural Innovators. She also assists in the development, administration, and report writing for our summative and formative evaluations.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in French from Hollins College in 1998. Prior to joining Partners in Performance, she spent several years teaching French, Drama, and Citizenship & Responsibility. She has also served in administrative capacities for Pulaski County (VA) Social Services. Additionally, Jessica has participated in the Hollins University Emerging Leaders Program; Managing Multiple Priorities; and Effective Project Management.
While having lived in France, North Carolina, and Georgia, she is a long time resident of the New River Valley and makes her home in Blacksburg.
